Dove"s Calling

 

I listened to the doves calling

and one who answered from afar.

They brought to my mind my Love;

He lives beyond the stars.

He coos a gentle love song

only the heart may hear.

Sweet are His precious night songs.

Deliverance will soon be here!

Each Day

"I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.

Lord,
I am trusting in You to show me the way,
How You want me to live day by day.
You know the world I live in and what
I must face.
People without Your love make
this planet an empty place.
You're in me always, so comforting inside;
Whispering, "You are My child, you will survive."
Thank You for Your grace which flows to me
through it all,
My heart is waiting to hear Your call.
Whatever task You would have me to do,
You know that my joy is living for You!

I Love You As...

"As the Father hath loved Me, so have I loved you: continue ye in My love." John 15:9

Jesus,
How can I tell You how much
You mean to me?
What can I say?
I know!
I'll write a poem of Your creation
And put me in it this way:
I love You as the day that dawns
to kiss the night away.
I praise You as the trees do
when they lift their leaves and sway.
I need You as the earth needs rain
to make all green things grow.
I want You more than anyone but You,
could ever possibly know.
This hymn of praise is for You, Jesus;
from me it's just a part.
While You listen from Your throne in heaven,
May it find its way into Your heart.
